How to Install and Activate Adobe Photoshop CS6
Here are the steps on how to install Adobe Photoshop CS6 and how to activate it for permanent use without fear of the trial period. Just checked.
1. Make sure you have downloaded the Adobe Photoshop CS6 installer file here. After that extract the file by right-clicking> select Extract to.
2. Next, click 2X the Set-up file.
3. If a notification like this appears, just select Ignore.
4. Select Try as shown below.
5. Select Accept to agree to the terms and policies of use of Adobe Photoshop CS6.
6. Next you select Sign in.
7. Here you are asked to login first. I assume you don't have an Adobe account, so first you have to create one. Click the following link to create an Adobe account.
8. Select Create an account to create a new account.
9. Complete the registration form as shown below. Then click Create account.
10. Your Adobe account has been successfully created.
11. Return to the installation process, login to your Adobe account by entering your email and password. Then click Sign in.
12. Enter the sign-in code that Adobe sent to your email inbox. Then click Verify.
13. Don't forget to also verify the email on your Adobe account. Just click the verification link sent to your email. Then you will be asked to enter your Adobe account password and your Adobe account has been successfully verified.
14. If so, just click Check again and continue.
15. There are 2 versions of Adobe Photoshop CS6. Here I chose Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit), because I am using Windows 10 64-bit. Then select Install.
Note: If you are using Windows 10 32-bit, it is recommended that you choose Adobe Photoshop CS6 (No frills 64 Bit). To check your Windows 10 is using 32 or 64-bit, check out the tutorial here.
16. If a notification like this appears, select Yes.
17. Wait for the Adobe Photoshop CS6 installation process to complete.
18. The installation process is complete then click Close. But wait, we're not done here yet.
19. First you download the file below for the purposes of activating Adobe Photoshop CS6. After you extract the file by right-clicking and selecting Extract to.
20. There are 2 folders named 32 Bit and 64 Bit. Since I chose Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit), then I need to go to the 64 Bit folder. After that copy the file amtlib.dll.
21. The next step is to go to Local Disk (C:) then select Program Files. If there is a folder called Program Files (x86) it indicates that the folder contains 32-bit applications. Then go to the Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit) folder.
22. Paste the amtlib.dll file into the folder and if you get this notification, just select Replace the file in the destination.
23. Next select Continue.
24. Now Adobe Photoshop CS6 can be used to its full potential without worrying about annoying activation windows.
