Spyware is a hidden program in a computer that has the general function of spying on a computer. If already infected, important data on the computer can be hijacked by unknown people. Our activities on the internet can also be tracked (this is the most common).

Characteristics of a computer or laptop infected with spyware
When you notice that your Internet Explorer suite of additional tools is available, but you never install them, or your browser crashes, or your main web page has been “hijacked” (or changed without your knowledge), then your computer is confirmed to be infected with spyware. Even if you don't see any symptoms, your computer may be infected, as more and more spyware is popping up. Spyware sometimes appears in the form of a trojan.
If someone or the system tries to make changes to a vital registry key, TeaTimer can detect it. TeaTimer can protect and counteract those changes by giving you options like you can Allow or Deny the changes. TeaTimer is on all the time.
Unable to find all the files, Resident TeaTimer asks for permission for each installation. If you're not sure if you should allow the installation or not, there's a simple method that can be used.
If you have already installed something or you know the name of the file to install, you can allow the registry changes. But if the message appears suddenly while you're surfing the web, you should be careful. In this case, you should reject the registry changes.
You can start Resident TeaTimer by clicking Tools → Resident in the navigation bar on the left. There, you can check the checkbox next to Resident “TeaTimer” (Whole computer system settings protection) is on to enable TeaTimer.
