This printer prints well and has good features. However, there are some odd design concepts here. I've had several Canon printers over the years and this one is different from the others. Paper is loaded through the bottom of the machine but remains open. It's nice to be able to see how much paper is left, but I've never seen this feature before.
The arms that catch the prints are skinny, thin, and have some openings. I can picture that arm getting caught in something and snapping off easily. If your goal is print quality, you won't be disappointed. I still find the design strange.
This model also works seamlessly with standard paper sizes, including US envelope sizes, photo paper sizes, letter sizes, and legal sizes. Otherwise, it works with media types like plain, ultra-gloss, semi-gloss, matte, US envelopes, and chlorine-free paper. The outstanding features of the printer include Auto Side Print, Auto Photo Fix II, Borderless Printing, Document Printing and Easy PhotoPrint.
