Windows 11 is the latest operating system from Microsoft which is personalized for all types of devices from smartphones/tablets to personal computers with the addition of more interesting features.
Before Microsoft Windows, which includes a graphical interface-based Operating System or what is commonly called a GUI (Graphical User Interface), there has been MS-DOS (Microsoft Disk Operating System) which was released in 1981. MS-DOS was actually created by a company called Seattle Computer, which then the license was bought by Bill Gates at that time for 50,000 dollars.
Furthermore, Microsoft Company released 2 versions of Windows, namely Windows/286 2.1 and Windows/386 2.1. Windows/286 2.1 uses the real mode memory method (x86) but uses the first version that supports HMA (High Memory Area). Windows/386 2.1 has a flexible kernel running in protected mode with Expanded Memory Specification (EMS) emulation.
Some of the changes that are present in this latest version are the appearance and several features. However, the most interesting thing is that Windows 11 will use all the features available in Windows 10X, which are intended for dual-screen and foldable screen devices.
If you look at the design of the Start Menu and the current position of the taskbar, it is almost similar to the MacOS operating system. The animation when the Start Menu opens is the same as the one on MacOS.
The Windows 11 interface and Start menu look very similar to what was originally found in Windows 10X. Visually, the biggest visible changes can be found along the taskbar. Microsoft Corp. has centralized app icons here, cleared the tray area, and included a new Start button and menu.
There are several new features in Windows 11, where users are now given the option of snap control when they want to reduce the size of the window on the device they are using. In addition, the rounded touch is also seen in several elements such as the Start Menu, widgets, applications, context menus and File Explorer.
Although the Start Menu and taskbar positions are centered by default, you can reposition them to the left if you wish. Microsoft has also included new experiences in Windows 11 that are very different from before such as the startup sound, which then triggers at every boot.
